ByteWire Forensics was founded by Dr. Patrick A. Linton and Dr. Bobby Hamilton — career law-enforcement professionals, business owners, certified forensic examiners, and university educators. Our practice is rooted in evidence, not theory.

Dr. Patrick A. Linton
Dr. Patrick A. Linton is a cybercrime investigator, digital forensics expert, and academic with over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, government, and higher education. As Director of Cyber Investigations and Risk Management at MOCA Jamaica, he leads cybercrime investigations, digital forensic operations, and cyber risk strategy. A PhD-qualified cybersecurity professional and adjunct lecturer at UTech Jamaica and Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Linton combines advanced academic expertise with extensive field experience. Through ByteWire Forensics, which he co-founded, he delivers practical, investigation-driven cybersecurity, forensic, and workforce development solutions grounded in operational reality.

Dr. Bobby Hamilton
Dr. Bobby Hamilton is a co-founder, operator, and law-enforcement veteran with more than 20 years of leadership experience across public safety, business, and organizational development. He holds a DBA in Business and Economics and brings deep expertise in risk management, structured operations, ISO-aligned quality systems, and strategic stakeholder engagement. At ByteWire Forensics, Dr. Hamilton supports advisory and institutional development initiatives with a practical, leadership-centered approach grounded in operational reality.

Forensic Evidence in Criminal Prosecution
Supported a national law enforcement agency with digital evidence acquisition, forensic analysis, and expert witness preparation in a financial cybercrime prosecution. Case resulted in successful conviction.
Incident Response & Forensic Examination
Engaged within hours of a confirmed network intrusion. Delivered rapid containment, full forensic examination of compromised endpoints, and a post-incident report meeting regulatory disclosure requirements.
Workforce Development
